We are a group of rescuers who have come together for the purpose of saving the lives of animals on death row. Many of these animals come from over-crowded, high-kill/gassing facilities in the USA, while others are rescued from life and death situations locally. Without assistance the vast majority of death row animals are euthanized within 48 hours of arriving at the shelter.

*We are a Registered Charity and will provide tax receipts for all donations

"CHIHUAHUA ALERT"- We will be assisting a group of chihuahuas that are soon going to be freed from the life of horror they have been living in a New Orleans Puppy Mill. The cost to do this (vetting, transport) will be approx. $4,500.00. These little ones deserve a new life, please consider helping through donations and offers to foster. We will update you with more information shortly.

- Can't have a full-time pet in your life right now! Why not become a volunteer dog-walker. Our animals get exercise and exposure to new situations, and you get all the love they have to give. Oh, and don't forget, it's great exercise. You can find applications at www.1atatimerescue.com

  • Wish List: Collars, Leashes, Good quality dog and cat foods (California natural, Evo, Taste of the Wild) Blankets, towels, toys, x-pens are all needed. We also have one big fella who would love a Futon mattress, clean and in good shape. - We are also praying for a moment of the miraculous, a home building with some greenspace that we can call home.
